Evaluation of the Music Video.

During the production of the music video, there were many difficulties that had arisen. For example, when selecting the footage to use for our music video. I admit, there some really good locations that could have been used, but ended up not used just because of flaws that are seen within them, such as shaky hands when holding the camera, inappropriate objects that are seen within some shots so we ended up not using them. Additionally, some shots also were not used because it did not seem to 'fit in' with the overall sequence, and our group concluded that minimal locations was better suited rather than a 'overload' of a variety of shots we took.

Furthermore, it was hard to add in 'text' within the sequence, without it looking too tacky. As one of our ideas was to use this 'comic' style look, we tried our best to incorporate this idea within our music video, which only looked best with transitions. To an extent, it can be argued that it looks effective but it can also come across as unprofessional.

I believe that we could have edited our sequence more in time with the beat, and we could have also used a narrative approach. However, we did have a narrative in mind, where our initial idea was to portray the artist to be daydreaming about a 'fun loving' self of her, which we did do but it was not necessarily in chronological order. We could have progressed these shots gradually, rather than randomly cutting each base track in a random order.
